The 57th Anniversary of the Foundation of Keimyung University


On May 20, the 57th Anniversary Celebration of The Founders', and an Honorary Doctorate Conferral Ceremony was held at Keimyung University. The ceremony was held at the Edward Adams Hall of Worship and Praise. President Synn Il-hi, the dean of the Graduate School, Lee Byoung-chan, and the Ambassador of Poland, Dr. Krzysztof Lgnacy Majka, attended.

The ceremony started with a pipe organ performance. There were presentations of Keimyung Gold Medals and other awards given to excellent staff members. At the end of the ceremony, there was a musical performance by the Keimyung String Quartet. As soon as the Anniversary celebration finished, the conferment ceremony for honorary doctoral degrees was held.

The conferment ceremony was held for the Rector, Stanisław Moryto, in the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music. The ceremony consisted of celebrating the records and distinguished achievements of Stanisław Moryto via the Dean of the Graduate School, Lee Byoung-chan, and a celebratory address by President Synn Il-hi, a salutation by Stanisław Moryto, and a congratulatory message given by Dr. Krzysztof Lgnacy Majka.

Holding a Snack Sharing Event for International Students From October 23 to 24, 2023, a snack sharing event was held at KMU's Dong-yeong Hall to cheer for the midterm exams of foreign students. The event was hosted by KMU's International Student Council and the International Cooperation Team.
