Keimyung University signed an MOU for Taekwondo exchanges with Canada Taekwondo Association at Seongseo campus on April 28th, and many people from Keimyung University Korea Taekwondo Center and Canada Taekwondo Association attended.
They promised mutual cooperation and a variety of activity exchanges such as a Taekwondo joint training program, an international Taekwondo event, and personnel exchanges including Taekwondo teams, coaches, referees, researchers and other experts. There will also be a Taekwondo education program for improving performances and skills, including a symposium.
KMU has acquired the right of international referees from the World Taekwondo Association in 1998. Since 2000, KMU has dispatched its students to the Canada Taekwondo Association every vacation. Because of these interchanges, Keimyung University was able to sign the MOU with Canada Taekwondo Association.
