On March 31, the Learning Portfolio Development Orientation was held in the Center for Teaching and Learning at Keimyung University. Many students attended the orientation.
During the orientation, Jo Yong-gae, a professor in the Center for Teaching and Learning, explained the reasons why we can make a portfolio, and talked about the meaning and types of learning portfolios and methods to make learning portfolios.
A learning portfolio should contain personal information such as name, e-mail, interests, aims, and career goals. Also, a portfolio should include a learning list, volunteer work, internships, study groups, reports, papers of research, and so on. There are a number of merits of making a learning portfolio. It enables students to control their studies and improve their time management.
