The 50th General Meeting of the Korea Planners Association



On February 23, Professor Kim Chul-su, from the Dept. of Interior & Environmental Design, was awarded the best writer in the 50th regular general meeting of the Korea Planners Association. Prof. Kim received a certificate and 2,500,000 won in prize money.

In his book, he compared Eastern and Western cities and suggested an ideal model for a future city. More specifically, he emphasized the importance of the ethical, recreational, historical, and cultural city spaces that are required to build future ideal urban spaces.

Professor Kim said, "I want to continue to study the characteristics of Korean urban
spaces and development processes."
