Lecture about Unification


On October 12, Hyun In-taek, the Minister of Unification, gave a special lecture titled “The Present State of the Relationship between North and South Korea and Future of the Korean Peninsula” in room 100, Smith Hall, in Keimyung University.

The lecture started after a brief greeting and introduction of the speaker by Keimyung President Synn. The minister gave the reunification of Germany as an example and explained that we should prepare for a gradual and peaceful unification. In addition, he said we should prepare for the cost to unification and seek other countries agreement.

Afterwards, there was time for questions.
