KMU Students Came Third in the Glocal Cast


Five Keimyung University students, who made a team named Cancrelat, participated in the 2010 Glocal Cast. The Global Cast is a contest hosted by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy and supervised by The Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology, and over one thousand teams participated in the contest. After contestants visited their own local leading companies, industrial areas, and Techno-parks, they submitted reports based on ways to develop local companies. They then made a blog containing the reports, which were evaluated by netizens and experts.

The KMU team came first place in Daegu and Gyeongbuk. They chose the subject, ‘Ways to make local talented students in the local industrial area, not only in a large company’. Furthermore, they finished third place in the final and got an internship at the top company of the local industrial area.

Our students said they want to change the image of Daegu from the city of textiles to the city of auto parts, which is what they focused on in their reports.

Holding a Snack Sharing Event for International Students From October 23 to 24, 2023, a snack sharing event was held at KMU's Dong-yeong Hall to cheer for the midterm exams of foreign students. The event was hosted by KMU's International Student Council and the International Cooperation Team.
