The Seminar about University Library’s Legal System


On August 17, a seminar was held in the audio-visual seminar room on the 7th floor of Dongsan Library. In the seminar, Kim Jong-chul, who is a research management team leader of Dongguk university central library, gave a special lecture.

He lectured about the university library's legal system and other issues related to the current university library. He emphasized the copyright law of the library. He said that many library users have broken copyright law. One example is that users have been making copies of books without permission.

During the seminar, he explained that university libraries have to protect the copyright of authors.

Sarang Room Sarang Room is a space where students of Keimyung University's Korean Language Institute can study or relax. Education on the use of Dongsan Library for foreign students Education on the use of Dongsan Library for foreign students will be held in the complex media reception room on the 3rd floor. Beginner courses will be held on Friday, April 5th, and advanced classes will be held on April 12th. The training includes information on facilities and services available at Dongsan Library, guidance on Korean learning materials, thesis similarity tests, and so on. After scanning the poster QR code, students can fill out the application form.
