National Music Competition



On July 24, the 2nd Woo Bong Music Competition was held at Woo Bong Art Hall, and 3 Keimyung University students won prizes in the piano competition. Byun Hye-rim (senior, Dept. of Piano) and Park Ji-hyun (senior, Dept. of Piano) won the gold and silver prizes respectively and Jung Ji-hoon (junior, Dept. of Piano) won the bronze prize.

The purpose of the Woo Bong Music Competition is to discover talented students who are going to lead music in the 21st century and to disseminate classical music to the public. 140 students took part in the competition.

Furthermore, on July 10, the 1st Busan Women's University National Music Concours took place. Jung Ji-hoon (junior, Dept. of Piano) and Seo Seung-a (junior, Dept. of Piano) won the first and third prizes, and Kim Ye-seul (freshman, Dept. of Piano) received an honorable mention.

Holding a Snack Sharing Event for International Students From October 23 to 24, 2023, a snack sharing event was held at KMU's Dong-yeong Hall to cheer for the midterm exams of foreign students. The event was hosted by KMU's International Student Council and the International Cooperation Team. In addition, the event was held for foreign students, and the event was held in hopes of cheering for international students studying hard for their first midterm exams in the second semester.
