KMU students Park Sang-yong, Hwang Sun-woo, Kim Kyung-kwon, and Park Jung-min (Dept. of Industrial Design) received the bronze award at IDEA (International Design Excellence Awards), a prestigious design competition. IDEA is known as one of the world’s top three design awards along with Germany’s IF Design Awards and Red Dot.

Their award-winning work “Rony Pony Iron” is an iron which can prevent fire and injury through carelessness. It has a simple, convenient, and safe design.

Park Sang-yong said, “Innovative design usually comes from thinking about the small problems around us. After graduating from university, I want to produce lots of useful and convenient products in a company not a conglomerate.”
