The First Prize in the 2009 Fujitsu Mobile Phone Design Awards

On October 6, the 2009 Fujitsu Mobile Phone Design Award was held in Japan. More than two thousand works were exhibited, coming from many parts of the world. Go Jin-gown, a student in the Department of Industrial Design at Keimyung University, won the first prize in this contest by presenting his work, 'Gesture,' as it was highly valued for its use of commodities and its potential market value.

The mobile phone that he designed was made to function as a camera, mp3 player, and telephone automatically by the typing of users who clutch the phone. Go said, "I got the idea while I was thinking how people can use telephones more conveniently in ordinary life."
