College of Architectural Studies


Keimyung University plans to change the Department of Architecture into the College of Architectural Studies next year.

The College of Architectural Studies' curriculum will range from environmental and integrated studies to interior design and construction, city, and landscape architecture. It intends to emphasize the concept of total design in the context of environmentally friendly architecture. The college is expected to offer a quality of education comparable to foreign architectural colleges.


The college will also offer courses leading to certificates from the Union Internationale des Architectes (UIA) and the Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea (ABEEK).

As Korea is at present actively involved in construction, city, and landscape projects abroad, for example, in South East Asia, demand for graduates in architectural studies is expected to increase in the future.

Holding a Snack Sharing Event for International Students From October 23 to 24, 2023, a snack sharing event was held at KMU's Dong-yeong Hall to cheer for the midterm exams of foreign students. The event was hosted by KMU's International Student Council and the International Cooperation Team.
