Keimyung University Selected for the 2009 Korean Government Scholarship Program for Graduate Students


Keimyung University is the only university in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk area selected for the 2009 Korean Government Scholarship Program for Graduate Students.

This program helps foreign scholarship students to prepare to enter graduate schools and to learn Korean. The 2009 Korean Government Scholarship Program for Graduate Students was awarded to only ten universities in the whole nation. Keimyung University was entrusted with providing Korean education to thirty foreign students for one year starting from September 1.

The scholarship students are to receive air fare, living expenses, medical insurance premiums and resettlement funds in Korea as well as Korean language learning expenses through the program. The country of origin of the students includes, among others, Australia, Russia, Sweden, China, Japan, Mongolia, Nepal, India, and Myanmar.

Keimyung University received a good evaluation in various fields from Korean education, its international program and its excellent dormitory facilities.
