On June 26, the College of Fashion and Tsinghua University Academy of Arts and Design concluded an agreement to do a scientific interchange and both parties pledged close cooperation with each other.

Among the important details of the agreement are teacher and student interchange, academic interchange, joint educational activities, and other exchange activities - such as a student exchange program and cross registration system, joint training of undergraduate students, and development of a common academic degree program. Also, Keimyung will have the opportunity to see Tsinghua University’s various educational systems and inspect many facilities. The dean of Keimyung University’s college of fashion and the president of Tsignhua University’s Academy of Arts and Design, among others, attended informal discussion meetings. In addition, both universities tried to arrange a joint fashion show in Beijing, and to participate in the 2010 Beijing international fashion week together and organize a joint-exhibition.

Both universities have already had an experience of holding an international fashion show, as Keimyung did during its commemoration of the 55th anniversary of the foundation of Keimyung University.
