Exchange between Korea and Kashmir

On May 6, seven members of a delegation from Kashmir visited Keimyung University. During their three days’ stay, the delegation hosted a forum about education and information technology to discuss ways of promoting joint education in the IT and medical sectors. Especially in the medical field, they are interested in Korean medical equipment and advanced medical facilities.

The delegation also visited Dongsan Medical Center and took blood tests, intraocular pressure tests, electrocardiograms, ultrasounds, and endoscopies. They also promised to build a mutual relationship through sharing information on medical treatments.

The Center for International Education said, “In spite of the tight schedule, the delegation showed a strong desire for future exchanges with Korea, so their visit is expected to play a major role in setting up cooperative projects and in exchanging information between the two countries in the future.”
