Lim Dong-min Appointed Keimyung Professor

The pianist Lim Dong-min was appointed an assistant professor in the Department of Piano in Keimyung University on August 26. Recognizing his accomplishments and fame, Keimyung University decided to appoint him.
Lim Dong-min was born in Seoul in 1980 and started to play the piano when he was 9. He attended Sunhwa Arts School as a full scholarship student. He also graduated from Moscow Conservatory, which is the top music conservatory in Russia. He was the first Korean prizewinner in the Chopin Concours, winning third prize in May 2005. He has won many prizes from other famous music competitions around the world. He has been active in collaborations and as a soloist on the world stage.
Professor Lim will teach students in the Department of Piano and undertake his role of cultivating musicians.
