International Exchange Programs

On September 4, a briefing on international exchange programs was held at the multimedia room, New Bauer Hall, at 2:30 p.m. This meeting focused on delivering information on various international exchange programs and on publicizing Keimyung’s international programs.

In this meeting, information on the Student Exchange Program and SAF (Study Abroad Foundation) was presented. Both require a certain level of GPA (Grade Point Average) and official linguistic ability test scores. In both programs, students can choose any courses irrespective of their major, and they can get credit for their scores overseas.

The Office of International Affairs introduced another exchange program named ISEP (International Student Exchange Program). Through this international organization, students can choose exchange programs at 250 registered universities. In Korea, five universities including Keimyung University are registered as international exchange schools.

Jay A. Kim, a researcher with SAF, said, “There are many programs which help students to experience other countries. I hope Keimyung University students can participate in these programs and make Keimyung University and Korea known to the world.”
