On July 7, Dr. Synn Il-hi took office as the 12th president of Keimyung University. His term of office is four years until July 2024. The inauguration ceremony was held at Keimyung University, Adams Chapel and was attended by executives and professors from associated departments and organizations. Due to Covid19, the number of attendees was minimized and the event was broadcast live on SNS. In his inauguration speech, he announced that education at Keimyung should be itself that confirms the existence of mankind and the value of industrial productivity.

Students of Keimyung University had a meaningful time during December and January as they engaged in overseas volunteer work with four other countries that had all participated and/or supported the Korean War. On October 30th and 31st, the 5th Community Contribution Capstone Design FAIR was held in Daejeon University. On October 31st , 2019, the Keimyung University Alumni Association held the Keimyung Bisa Love Concert commemorating the 120th anniversary of the establishment of Keimyung University. Musical actor Choi Jung-won's special appearance, as well as musicians from Keimyung University such as soprano Lee Hwa-young and baritone Kim Seung-chul, were invited to perform. In addition, a Bisa modern dance group composed of Keimyung University alumni and the Neulpureun (evergreen) wind orchestra were also featured. The performance lasted one and a half hours and the entire proceeds of the performance will
