  • Dongsan Library Autumn Festival

    From November 2 to 4, Keimyung University’s Dongsan Library held the '2011 Dongsan Library Autumn Festival.' The purpose of this festival is to create an atmosphere of reading and establish a reading culture.     On September 22, broadcast announcer Jang Jin-yeong’s special lecture was held in the multimedia room at New Bauer Hall. She is an announcer at TBC (Tomorrow’s Broadcasting Corporation).     On November 2, KMU held a mock international conference at the New Bauer Hall in Seong-seo campus. The theme of the conference was 'the Korean economy and the FTA.'     The Sixth Sense team, which consisted of 6 members, got first prize in the first Creative Innovation Sports Project (CISP) sports idea contest.This contest was held to overcome a crisis of youth unemployment and shortage of sports experts and was aimed at university students. Keimyung University Hosts International Fashion Show Celebrating 125th Anniversary On October 30th, the Department of Fashion Design hosted the International Fashion Show Celebrating Keimyung University’s 125th Anniversary at a special stage in front of the main building on Daemyung Campus. The event featured participation from prestigious fashion institutions, including Donghua University in China, Maranatha Christian University in Indonesia, Ueda College of Fashion in Japan, and the National Institute of Art and Design in Uzbekistan. French Exchange Students Cultural Adventure in Daegu On November 8th, 2024, 77 French exchange and study-abroad students participated in a unique cultural excursion in Daegu, sponsored by the DGIEA Korean-Italian Association. The day’s itinerary included a visit to Gunparkrugi Theme Park, an engaging persimmon-picking experience at Songgeum Green Rural Village, and a thrilling rail bike ride.
