    Jeong Jae-hoon, who is a student of Keimyung University, was the best performer in the Samsung Young Campus Reporter competition. He is a junior in the College of Social Sciences and his major is Consumer Information Science. Samsung Young Campus Reporter is a program where university students selected from the whole country report their own schools’ useful information and local events. Since last year, Jeong has been a member of this program. He has written articles, taken pictures for his articles, and posted them on the Samsung homepage.   • 2012 University Recruitment Tour

    On September 5, 2012, the University Recruitment Tour was held in the audio visual room and in the lobby on the second floor of Bauer Hall.The Tour was intended for university graduates, prospective graduates and enrolled students to resolve employment mismatch between local corporations and students.   • KMU Students, Got Scholarship from China Government

    Twenty-five Keimyung University students got scholarships from the Chinese government. Twelve students get scholarships for one semester, eight students for one year, and five students get a scholarship to study for a master's degree .They were selected among brilliant students recommended by all of the Confucius Institutes located in various countries. Students chosen for this program will learn Chinese and Chinese culture in China. They are excused from all tuition and boarding fees, moreover they will get living expenses.   • Korean Language and Culture Camp

    The 2012 Korean Language and Culture Training Camp were held for three weeks from August 6 to August 24. 170 foreign students from Germany, Japan, France, and the United Kingdom participated in this camp. The students in the camp visited Korea to learn about Korean culture and language. Classes consisted of Korean culture classes such as graded Korean language lessons, hanbok experience, samulnori, taekwondo, traditional crafts, and traditional food of Korea. Also they visited Korean heritage sites such as Gyeongju, Yeongju, and Cheongdo to see historic sites and to experience Korean culture.

Keimyung University Hosts International Fashion Show Celebrating 125th Anniversary On October 30th, the Department of Fashion Design hosted the International Fashion Show Celebrating Keimyung University’s 125th Anniversary at a special stage in front of the main building on Daemyung Campus. The event featured participation from prestigious fashion institutions, including Donghua University in China, Maranatha Christian University in Indonesia, Ueda College of Fashion in Japan, and the National Institute of Art and Design in Uzbekistan. French Exchange Students Cultural Adventure in Daegu On November 8th, 2024, 77 French exchange and study-abroad students participated in a unique cultural excursion in Daegu, sponsored by the DGIEA Korean-Italian Association. The day’s itinerary included a visit to Gunparkrugi Theme Park, an engaging persimmon-picking experience at Songgeum Green Rural Village, and a thrilling rail bike ride. The event provided the students with a meaningful opportunity to immerse themselves in Korea’s cultural and rural heritage while enjoying memorable outdoor activities.
