On December 24, 2013 Winter Volunteer Activities' Launch Ceremony was held in the Hengso Museum. KMU has carried out volunteer activities for developed countries in Asia since 2002. So far, KMU has sent 2100 students to Nepal, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, Mongolia, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Cambodia and Kyrgyzstan.This time, about 140 students were dispatched to Cambodia, Sri Lanka and Laos. KMU held a camp for prospective students from January 13-18 at Seongseo campus. It was held for students who will enter KMU through the admission officer screening process. The total number of participants was 140. They lived together in the dormitory and experienced campus life.KMU provided basic lectures in Korean, English, and mathematics. The KMU team Hot Six won the first prize at the third annual Tom N Toms advertisement competition in the section “Love Korea.” The team consisted of Kim Gyeong-ah (23, Visual Design), Ahn Ga-young (23, Visual Design), Park Su-bin (22, Japanese Studies), and Yun Song-yi (21, Daegu University). Tom N Toms held this competition, and the Ministry of Environment and the Korea Broadcast Advertising Corporation (KOBACO) sponsored it.
