  • Keimyung Dongsan Hospital : Environmentally Friendly Hospital Gets International Standards

    To find environmental elements is not difficult, but developing environmental elements has limits because most hospitals were built focusing on patients’ treatment. Facing this situation, Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital took the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) challenge, which is an architecture certification system. Some futuristic design elements can now be seen at Dongsan Hospital.There are sky lights in the ceiling that allow sunlight to stream in.   • University Center for Employment Creation

    The Ministry of Employment and Labor and Keimyung University opened the University Center for Employment Creation to solve the youth employment problem in October. The Center is an employment support service in the Employment Support Center. This new project is being run in conjunction with and with funding from the local government.   • KMU Selected to Contribute to High School Education Normalization

    KMU has been selected as a University Contributing to High School Education Normalization for the second year in a row. KMU will receive 680 million won. The program assesses the effect of university admissions processes on high school education and selects universities that run appropriate admissions processes for the project.   • Dongsan Scholarship Foundation Gave 95 Scholarships

    On September 23, Dongsan Scholarship Foundation(Chief Director Synn Il-hi) held the ‘2015 Scholarship Certificate of Conferment Ceremony’ in Hengso Museum’s Audio-Visual room. Keimyung University Hosts International Fashion Show Celebrating 125th Anniversary On October 30th, the Department of Fashion Design hosted the International Fashion Show Celebrating Keimyung University’s 125th Anniversary at a special stage in front of the main building on Daemyung Campus. The event featured participation from prestigious fashion institutions, including Donghua University in China, Maranatha Christian University in Indonesia, Ueda College of Fashion in Japan, and the National Institute of Art and Design in Uzbekistan. French Exchange Students Cultural Adventure in Daegu On November 8th, 2024, 77 French exchange and study-abroad students participated in a unique cultural excursion in Daegu, sponsored by the DGIEA Korean-Italian Association. The day’s itinerary included a visit to Gunparkrugi Theme Park, an engaging persimmon-picking experience at Songgeum Green Rural Village, and a thrilling rail bike ride.
