There are a lot of star chefs and up-and-coming chefs in the spotlight, appearing on several cooking shows, TV dramas, movies and commercials. Because of that, I want to introduce the American movie Chef. Jon Favreau, who directed Iron Man and Iron Man 2, directs this movie and plays the main character Carl Casper who is the chef of a first-class restaurant. Unfortunately he is so preoccupied with work he got divorced and has a bad relationship with his son.

  • KMU’s Dongsan Library Helps out

    KMU’s Dongsan Library has been helping small libraries in substandard conditions for 5 years. Since 2011, Dong san Library has supported 45 libraries in Daegu and 47 libraries in Gyeong buk through various activities. The volunteer activities consist of reading education, data rearrangement, space organization, interior design and environmental improvement. These activities are greatly appreciated by the local community and library users. KMU Dong san Library volunteer work teams consist of five teams with 60 people total, including librarians and students. Currently, the teams are supporting

Keimyung University Hosts International Fashion Show Celebrating 125th Anniversary On October 30th, the Department of Fashion Design hosted the International Fashion Show Celebrating Keimyung University’s 125th Anniversary at a special stage in front of the main building on Daemyung Campus. The event featured participation from prestigious fashion institutions, including Donghua University in China, Maranatha Christian University in Indonesia, Ueda College of Fashion in Japan, and the National Institute of Art and Design in Uzbekistan. Under the theme, “Arc,” symbolizing growth and vision, the Fashion Show showcased 94 outfits created by Keimyung University’s Fashion Design

French Exchange Students Cultural Adventure in Daegu On November 8th, 2024, 77 French exchange and study-abroad students participated in a unique cultural excursion in Daegu, sponsored by the DGIEA Korean-Italian Association. The day’s itinerary included a visit to Gunparkrugi Theme Park, an engaging persimmon-picking experience at Songgeum Green Rural Village, and a thrilling rail bike ride. The event provided the students with a meaningful opportunity to immerse themselves in Korea’s cultural and rural heritage while enjoying memorable outdoor activities.
