The Ministry of Education announced that Keimyung University (KMU) was selected for CORE, the acronym for COllege of humanities Research and Education. Seven universities in the capital and nine regional universities were selected. CORE is the first financial support for research and education in colleges of humanities. This initiative was made to overcome the low popularity and the low employment rate of humanities majors.
