1. What have you been doing lately?

I prepared for Monday Concert for the last ten months, from June 2007 to March 2008. I wrote lyrics and composed new songs that are supposed to be released in the coming autumn. I prepared for Korean Live that was held in Japan on April 12 and also I’m working on my project album.

2. Do you have any interesting experiences as a singer?

When I presided at the MTV live WOW music program, I could go to many places where I’d never have been to, and so I could make many good mementoes there. Further, I could also meet various singers I had wanted to meet so much before.

3. I'm curious about your university life. How did you spend your university days?

I was active as a singer, but I had to go to school. Therefore, I went to Seoul and returned to Daegu by KTX for two years when I was a junior and senior student. It was hard to maintain the busy life of coming and going between Seoul and Daegu.
I had thought my music study was more important than my activities as a singer, so I tried not to be absent from classes, and to do assignments for my major study. Living my life as an active singer in earnest, I could realize what I have to study further. That’s why I could devote myself to study indefatigably.

4. Could you give Keimyung University students some tips for singing well?

Song comes naturally in our life. Songs reflect our feelings of happiness or sadness, so I think singing a lot will make you become a good singer naturally. As a singer, I can advise you to think of your voice and choose a singer who has the most similar voice as you. You listen to the songs of that singer and follow him or her by singing along with them. Repeating these processes, you can naturally find yourself becoming a good singer.

5. Could you tell us your life motto?

I just want to live ‘the given’ life of mine sincerely. Life is equally given to all people. What I can do well is composing, writing lyrics, and singing songs that can make people sympathize with one another. Therefore, I have to do my best to improve my ability as a singer-songwriter. After that, if I can have any chance to reveal my ability, I’ll make the most of the golden opportunity to show my musical talent to the world.

6. Could you please give some advice to Keimyung University students?

When I work, I meet graduates from Keimyung University, and I'm very proud of them. I was worried about what I could do in University life in the short four years. The important thing is that time is always given to everyone equally, and anybody can catch his or her chances anytime. I, as a Keimyung graduate, will try to show myself to you with good news, and will do my best! Way to go, all Keimyung students!
