The Da Vinci Code can reverse a person's belief. Even though his book is just fiction, author Dan Brown shook many people. Why are people interested in this book if it is just fiction?

The first time I looked over The Da Vinci Code, I wasn't interested in it because I thought it was about Leonardo da Vinci. I didn't know about Leonardo da Vinci and I was too young to care about his art. It was my mistake to think that. My opinion changed while reading that book. I couldn't put it down because of Robert Langdon's heroics and wide knowledge, and Dan Brown's imaginative power.

Although it is just a novel, it is very difficult to judge which parts are true. If you want to read this book, just remember that The Da Vinci Code is a book which includes the author's opinion that recorded history about the grail, the Bible and Jesus is wrong. I opened the book thinking, ‘Will I believe it or not?' There were many bombshells: the story of Jesus Christ was invented by people to hide that he had a wife and son. Although we commemorate Sunday as the Sabbath, originally Christians commemorated Saturday as the Sabbath. Christians were shocked. The Da Vinci Code is popular, but there are many people who criticize it. Some say that it is illogical, but nobody knows whether it is true or not. Some people think that it is nonsense and that we just should enjoy it.

When I was very young, I used to go to church. The preacher said. “The entire world was made by God,” but I didn't believe him at first; however, I slowly began to believe. I think this book is similar. My thinking slowly changed from “that's impossible” to “that's possible.” During that time, I searched for the truth. People want to know the truth, but we can't know if what we believe is real or not. Jesus Christ's story is history, but we can't say that history is true. History is written by the conqueror, so we could all be deceived.

I searched the Internet to read other opinions about The Da Vinci Code. Many people were arguing about the truth. One comment seized my attention, “We should not forget this one thing whether it is true or not. He is Jesus. He is the son of God. I want you to have strong belief in this.” Though I don't have a deep belief, I feel that the man who left those words was a respectable person. I think that even if this book tells the truth, he will maintain his faith. The most important thing to him is faith.

We don't know what the truth is, but people want to find the truth more and more. The most important thing is faith. If you have faith to follow yourself, truth is not so important to you.
