Specialized Dormitory Program
KMU has special dormitories in addition to normal dormitories. These dormitories are KELI House (an English-only residence hall), CLIK House (a Chinese-only residence hall), and JIKU House (a Japanese-only residence hall). These programs provide students with intensive foreign languages classes for about twelve classes a week besides university classes. In these dormitories, Korean is not supposed to be spoken. Students here live with international students. You can ask to have an exchange student who speaks a language which you want to learn as a roommate. It's the best way for you to speak the language. KMU offers the opportunity to participate in these specialized dormitory programs to freshmen who have good scores in CSAT. Keimyung students can apply for these dormitories by an interview and a written test.
Selection Standard
Freshman - CSAT, TOEFL, or TOEIC
Undergraduates - A written test (50%) and a second language interview (50%)
