Hello, my name is Hyun-ah Cho, and I major in English language and literature. I studied as an exchange student at Murcia University in Spain during the second semester of 2023 and would like to share my experience. 

Murcia, where I lived, is in Murcia, in the southern Spanish state of Murcia, which is adjacent to the Mediterranean Sea. The weather, was mostly mild in winter, and I was very surprised that I could often see people wearing short-sleeves even in winter. There, were also many palm and orange trees on campus. It was lovely.

Murcia University has various departments such as humanities, social sciences, law, and education. Many of these offer classes in English, including the Faculty of Media and Communication, where I studied. The biggest difference from Korea I found was that in the practice classes, students mainly conducted projects, presented results, and gave feedback. It was interesting to have time for language exchange and cultural exchange while talking with friends from various countries thanks to this teaching method. And I was also happy to see my friends who recognized and liked a lot of K-pop, Korean drama series, and Korean food.
 
While living in Europe, I was really impressed with the passionate lifestyle and their enjoyment of life such as through soccer cheering and the Christmas market, and I was also able to see and learn many things. I would strongly recommend traveling to the surrounding European countries if someone visited Europe as an exchange student. I think it is a great opportunity to do it because the distance between Europe is relatively short and cheap.

Most of all, Spain, which is famous for having Siesta, is able to see many lively people thanks to its bright weather. I also had a happy time living in clear weather with kind Spaniards. My six-month life in Spain was a turning point in my life as I was able to grow through so many trials and errors.

 There are lots of majors and cultures that people can enjoy. I would like you to go to Murcia university to enjoy spain majors and cultures.
