KMU to host a concert in celebration of its 124th anniversary

Keimyung University held the '124th Anniversary Commemorative Concert' in collaboration with the local community. The concert, held at 7:30 PM on November 8th at the Keimyung Art Center, featured performances by the Keimyung Symphony Orchestra, composed of students from the Department of Orchestral and Vocal Arts at Keimyung University, and more than 220 members of the Keimyung Chorus.

The repertoire prepared for the concert, aimed at conveying beautiful melodies on a deepening autumn night, included familiar pieces such as selections from operas like La Traviata and Tosca, including works by composers like Puccini.

In addition to trumpet concertos, orchestral symphonies, and choral performances, the concert provided a diverse musical program, engaging the audience. Notably, Professor Ha Seok-bae, a tenor, along with conductor Seo Jin, chorus conductor Woo Sung-kyu, trumpeter Han Min-ok, baritone Kim Seung-cheol, and soprano Lee Hwa-young, contributed to the overall excellence of the performance. The concert, offered free of charge, aimed to create a more refined and complete experience for the attendees.
