The Collector's Invitation, which will be held as a special exhibition at the Daegu National Museum, introduces cultural heritage related to Daegu and major art works, ceramics, and Buddhist art works from Korean art history.  The exhibition was donated by the late the former chairman of Samsung Kun-hee Lee and is the second local work following a special exhibition at the National Museum of Korea in Seoul. The exhibits include works from the Three Kingdoms Period until the modern era, and among the exhibits, there are state-designated cultural properties.
The exhibition is divided into two parts. Part 1 tells the collector's story about works related to the space of life, and  the second part is about the theme of the collection and introduces Korean art luxury products with the highest standards across all genres. The exhibition period is three months, and the major works are replaced every month to protect the exhibits.
In June, Jung-sik Ahn's "Hwajoyeongmodo" and Hong-do Kim's "Chushug-bu-do" will be on display. In addition, the museum's main hall interior has a beautiful indoor garden under the theme of a collector's garden, taking advantage of the natural lighting coming down from the museum's high ceiling and glass roof. Five stone statues are displayed in the garden, and an indoor garden that maximizes the cool atmosphere is completed by combining the natural atmosphere and the wonderful stone statues.
Visit and listen to the precious stories contained in each of Korea's cultural heritages!
