These days, musical films such as Lala Land and Mama Mia are receiving a lot of attention. In response to this interest, theatres have created special theaters with concert sound and others where the audience can sing along. Moreover, the melody and lyrics that are powerfully addicting them. The most recent and notable musical is Bohemian Rhapsody, which was a huge hit in Korea.

The movie starts with the appearance of the main character, Freddie Mercury. He joined as the main vocalist in band become Queen. Not long after that, they made their first album and succeed it. In response to this, they prepared for a second album called Bohemian Rhapsody. This album was initially rejected by the record company because it was so strange to hear. However, this song has was loved by many people. The new styles in rock and pop music are its significant features.

Many people were fascinated by the music, however, there are also social issues which should be considered. First, He was a minority based on his ethnicity, race, and sexual preference. For these reasons, he had been treated poorly throughout his life even after his success. Also, he was the victim of an invasion of privacy. The movie shows a press conference where the media hounded him with questions about his appearance and sexual preference. Through the ruthless media, our focus is drawn to an unsustainable private life. While watching the movie is good, we can also see a wealth of issues to consider.

If you want to appreciate other movies like this, I would like to recommend some movies like Lala land, Les miserable and Mamma Mia.
