To create a client’s new image, they have to know the client’s current problems. Then, they correct the problems and advise the client about appropriate conversation methods, makeup, and clothing. Furthermore, they help a client develop the ability to express his or her best image.

Qualification
Image consultants need knowledge about design, clothes, psychology, makeup, conversation skill, and personal relationships. You can learn about these in the Image Consultants Association Training Center in Mapo-Gu, Seoul. If you want to work as an image consultant, you must get an image consultant certificate. First, you have to join the Image Consultants Association, and you have to complete a whole course prepared by the association. You must complete at least 72 hours of classes. Then, you have to pass a qualification test. In the test, you must get more than 60 points in the practical test and the written exam. Grades are divided into first, second, and third class. Afterwards, you must have work experience for at least 20 hours. If you satisfy all these requirements, you can get an image consultant certificate.
