2015 Daegu Chicken and Beer Festival

The Daegu Chicken and Beer Festival, held in July, is one of the representative events in Daegu. You can taste different kinds of chicken and beer and, experience educational events about the development of the chicken industry. There will also be a lot of activities such as K-pop and rock concerts, participation events such as a chicken cooking contest, face painting and cultural and artistic shows by international sister cities. The festival has signed an agreement with the Qingdao International Beer Festival in China, which is becoming a world-famous festival. There is no entrance fee or age limit, but if you want to drink alcohol, then it requires a process to confirm that you are an adult.

Holding a Snack Sharing Event for International Students From October 23 to 24, 2023, a snack sharing event was held at KMU's Dong-yeong Hall to cheer for the midterm exams of foreign students. The event was hosted by KMU's International Student Council and the International Cooperation Team.
