Classes in University


Students took many types of classes this year. The Keimyung Gazette conducted a survey with 100 university students on their thinking about classes.

① The lesson was not difficult (39%)
② The students and professor respected each other (30%)
③ The class was not boring (22%)

① The students and professor didn’t respect each other (35%)
② The lesson was too difficult (28%)
③ The class was boring (26%)
④ The professor didn’t accept students’ opinions (11%)

2. What is the ideal form of class for students?
① Half the professor lecturing and half studens’ presentations (50%)
② Mainly the professor lecturing (27%)

The Keimyung Gazette found that 54% of Keimyung University students were satisfied with the classes in university. 39% were satisfied because the lesson was not difficult. However, 46% of students were not satisfied with classes. 35% were dissatisfied because the students and professor didn’t respect each other. Also, 50% of students want to listen to a class consisting of half the professor’s lecturing and half students’ presentations. When students do homework, the most difficult thing is a group assignment.
