The theme of the 2013 Gwangju Design Biennale is Gusigi, Musigi. Gusigi can be described as: Each designer has a design for someone. Musigi can be described as: Design has something for everyone; all design differences are valuable. In addition, they are related to a designer’s creative style (mut) to reflect the user’s taste and characteristics on routine or universal things (gut).
