-Introduction
The Office of International Affairs was established to broaden students’ international horizons and offer experiences in the cultures of other countries. The Office of International Affairs offers programs such as credit exchange with overseas universities and cultural exchange programs. The office is managed by 1 team leader, 7 Korean staff, and 1 Australian employee.

-Programs
Student Exchange Program
This program is to exchange students with foreign universities that are affiliated with KMU, you pay tuition in our university, and then you can study in the foreign university for six months to one year. The acquired credits in the foreign university are acknowledged in our university. Students who have been registered for from 2 to 7 semesters and acquired a GPA (grade point average) above 3.0 can apply.
The universities are located in various countries which use English, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, German, and Spanish. Scholarships are given by every country. America and Europe give 1,000,000 won, China and Hong Kong 600,000 won, Japan 600,000 won, and Russia 800,000 won.

Overseas Volunteer Program
This program offers KMU students the opportunity to do volunteer work in foreign countries. Also, they play a role as a representative promoting Korea. The main activities vary from teaching hangul and taekwondo to helping local residents.
The activity period is almost two weeks each summer and winter vacation. Recruitment time is from March to April and September and October. Selection standards are document screening and an interview. The required documents include GPA, TOIEC certificate, foreign language speaking ability, and a letter of self-introduction. Students who have been registered for less than 8 semesters can apply. 30% of all expenses are sponsored by KMU.
