Hi, I’m Kang Hey-jin, a freshman in KMU. I’m studying microbiology. Because of entering university, an unknown world, my heart is fluttering and I feel afraid of it, but on the other hand, I think I can say I feel excited too. Even though there were plenty of opportunities for me to study in high school and I had a good environment, I didn’t study much and do my best. I feel regretful about it. In university, I want to study hard to make my dream come true. I will do my very best to get a scholarship to reduce my parents’ burden of paying tuition.

Hi, my name is Jang Eun-ji. Nice to meet you all. I’m a freshman majoring in nursing. I’m glad to tell you how I feel about being a university student. First of all, I’m excited about my university life. I imagined myself walking on campus with pretty clothes and make-up. I wanted to make great memories that I can never forget. I might want to deviate from my normal life. However, since I became a Keimyung University student after keen competition, I think I have to study hard and give up the deviation. I’m pretty sure everything will be awkward and I will be poor at university life at first. But I don’t worry about it. I believe time will solve all matters and other first year students will experience the same things as I will. I’m going to spend my university life experiencing as much as I can and having fun for a successful university life.

Hello, I’m a sophomore in KMU. First of all, I want to say confront painful experiences, and do not regret your choice if you have done your best. I think all you guys have a lot of fantasy about university and campus life, such as romantic love, free time, and so on. It is true that you can have much more free time than before, but there are always duties along with the freedom. It means that you should have responsibility for yourself or any behavior which you do. For example, no one punishes you because of being absent from your classes, but your attendance points will be lost. It is not limited to class. All your behaviors make your character. Anyway, I hope that you have a great campus life.

Hello, all freshmen of Keimyung. I’m a junior and have strong pride in my university. The most important thing in campus life is efficient time use. When I was a freshman, I wanted to use my time as economically as possible, but I didn’t. The reason is that I didn’t know what I really wanted to be, so I could not shake off my anxiety for my future. Finally, I found what I like and what I want to do after graduation. After that, the lesson that I felt was if I knew myself well, I could have saved my time and also have achieved lots of goals. I think there are lots of students who waste their valuable time without specific goals. I’m sure that some of you may be excited about your new campus life. Please calm down and organize your thoughts about the future. As a freshman, meet many kinds of people, have a variety of experiences, and then keep thinking about what you really want. In your twenties, the experiences and people from university life are treasures. I really hope you spend your time wisely.
