The Dreaming Garret

Do you have any dream? If so, what do you dream of and what do you try to do to realize your dream? Or do you know the equation R=VD? It has as much power as Einstein's E=MC2, and has its own inner meaning, which is that the dream we vividly imagine can be realized. The Dreaming Garret shows this through successful people who dreamed of their ambitions with those kinds of formula and how they used those formulas in their lives. There are many kinds of techniques such as picture, location, speaking or writing in putting those formulas into practice in life.

First of all, the basic technique of the formula R=VD is to transform our brain's imagination to reality. Researchers in Harvard University divided two subject groups and asked group A to perform a task after vividly picturing their happy future series, while group B were not asked to picture it. As a result, group A demonstrated 100% accuracy in the accomplishment, but group B only revealed 55% accuracy. This experiment shows that the imagination technique is quite helpful in accomplishing tasks.

Bill Gates also said he used to imagine computers would be installed in each family and be used to dream he could make his dream realized from his teenage years. Warren Buffett said that he also used to imagine his future self as the richest man in the world and he confessed he never doubted his dream would not be realized.

Additionally, using the location technique, actor Arnold Schwarzenegger went to the place where he wanted his dream realized to fulfill his dream of becoming a body builder, a Hollywood actor, and the governor of California in the U.S.A.

Finally, using the writing technique, Bill Clinton, the 42nd president of the United States, used to write three important things to him in the order of importance, and he finally became the youngest governor of the United States.

In 1953, Yale University graduates were asked whether they have their life goals and if they have papers with their life plans. Just 3% students answered they did and the 3% of graduates live happier lives and feel fullness in life than the rest of 97%. In their financial status, the 3% of people had more fortunes than the other 97%. Like the 3% of people, there are many people who try to realize their dreams.
The important thing is that the people not only imagined their future series of realizing their dreams but also they made an endless effort to pursue their dreams. It is certain that the processes are so different and the dreams are hard to achieve. However, the dreams can be realized after effort is made, so the Gazette also wishes you have a dream and keep trying to achieve it.
