A team consisting of Major in Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, called the Guardian Team, won the best prize at the recent Daegu International Future Auto Expo 2019 Car Startup Camp which was held October 17th to 20th. The Guardian Team showed off a user-installed automatic sprinkler system in a car and received excellent reviews from the judges. They got one million won for prize money and surprisingly, they donated all to the school on October 29th. On October 30th and 31st, the 5th Community Contribution Capstone Design FAIR was held in Daejeon University. Keimyung University Traditional Microorganism Resources Development Center (TMR Center) was re-designated as the Food Test Inspection Agency by the Daegu Regional Office of Food and Drug Safety. On October 31st , 2019, the Keimyung University Alumni Association held the Keimyung Bisa Love Concert commemorating the 120th anniversary of the establishment of Keimyung University. Musical actor Choi Jung-won's special appearance, as well as musicians from Keimyung University such as soprano Lee Hwa-young and baritone Kim Seung-chul, were invited to perform.
