The KMU taekwondo team participated in the 2010 Polish Open International Taekwondo Championships as Korean representatives. All the members won prizes. The seven KMU representatives won four gold medals, one silver medal, and two bronze medals. About 400 athletes from Azerbaijan and many European countries participated.

In addition, after the contest finished, Professor Lee Seon-jang taught taekwondo theory and practical skills at a seminar for members of the Polish national team and coaches and some other European countries’ taekwondo coaches.
