On August 6, Center for International Education hosted the completion ceremony of completion of the first half of 2008 education course conducted by Center for International Education at the multimedia lecture room, New Bauer Hall at 11 a.m.
Professor Oh Ik-guen (Prof. of Department of Tourism Management), head of Center for International Education, said, “Students who completed the course for the past semester should strive to the understand Korean Culture and Korean language more and more. I’m convinced that students' completion of the course will play a pivotal role in promoting cultural exchange between Korea and other countries.”
In this ceremony, seventy seven students got their completion certificates of the last ten month's course which started from May 26.
Regular Korean education course conducted by Center for International Education is operated with foul semesters a year with each level of classes in which the number of students is within ten to fifteen. Students finishing the course can mostly enter universities and the next semester begins on September 1.
