On May 21, Ha Suk-bae, a professor in the College of Music and Performing Arts, joined nine other famous Korean tenors at the Ten Tenors Concert in Seoul Art Center. In the sense that the number of tenor performances has decreased these days compared with frequent soprano performances like Cho Su-mi, the performance of these famous Korean tenors has a significant meaning for the Korean audience who rarely have the chance to see such performances. Professor Ha performed “Di Quella Pira” from Verdi’s Il Trovatore. The concert was one of the highlights of the summer opera season.
