On May 8, Professor Seanan Clifford (Department of European Studies) gave a lecture with the main theme the “Future of Europe” at room 304, Smith Hall.

This lecture dealt with the integration and enlargement process of the EU from the early years to the present day.

Further, the lecture outlined the efforts individual EU countries have made to make an integrated EU and the future direction EU countries will proceed in.
