The Korean Language Institute, Center for International Education, is on the way to spreading the beautiful value of the Korean language and its culture to the world. It is the first organization in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region to establish a Korean cultural center abroad. The past six years of management experience, know-how, and man power sources in the Korean Language Institute and its related departments have led to founding the “Keimyung Korean Language and Culture Center” in Vietnam (Da Nang University, Da Nang) on April 14 and Tadzhikistan (National Foreign Language University, Dushanbe) on May 9. The Korean Language and Culture Center will provide regular courses for university students and special courses for general people from May. The classes of Korean language and Korean history and culture will help to enhance the image of Keimyung University and to attract foreign students to Keimyung.
