“Pamyo” signals the emergence of a superstar

On the tenth day of its release, the Korean film, "Exhuma," also known as "Pamyo" brought in more than $5 million at the box office. Estimating the final box office number is challenging because of the current volatile nature of the market. But taking into the account of the fact that there were 2.3 million viewers over the first weekend, you should typically anticipate three times as many people at the end of the race, meaning that the box office total will be 6.9 million.

The actors from the "Pamyo" are thought of as the "dream team." Especially, Kim Go-eun's incredible performance as the movie's shaman has the audience in complete awe. People began to notice that Kim had more than just a beautiful aura when they saw her in the long black dress she wore to the stage at the "Rising Star Awards" in 2012. Evidently, she had demonstrated her capacity to rise to prominence in Asia. Speaking of her appearance, Kim Go-eun has long and thin eyes. When Hollywood chooses female actresses of Asian heritage, this quality is thought to be a must for Asian beauty.

In "Pamyo," Kim Go-eun carries out exorcism, called ‘daesalgut.’ As the sword dance starts, her eyes start to roll and turn upwards. It's difficult to look insane on camera unless you're really skilled. Kim Go-eun acts using the Stanislavski method of acting, which draws the audience in and makes them believe what they see and feel emotionally invested. This is not feasible unless you have a thorough comprehension of the character's specific circumstances. Kim is regarded as an exceptional actor for this reason.

Kim Go-eun is only thirty-two years old. In thirty or forty years, she might have developed into an actress akin to Yoon Yuh-jung, the first Korean woman to receive an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at the 93rd Oscars for "Minari" (2021). Kim genuinely deserves this kind of recognition.
