Dalseong Wetland' is an inland wetland found in Daecheon-dong and Horim-dong, Dalseo-gu, Daegu, and Dasa-eup and Hwawon-eup, Dalseong-gun. It is formed on a large scale of 2 million square meters at the junction of Nakdonggang River and Geumhogang River, Jincheoncheon Stream and Daemyeongcheon Stream. A long time ago, rivers that flooded due to floods repeatedly deposited and created their current appearance. Dalseong Wetland has many things to see throughout the four seasons. In spring, you can see beautiful yellow flowers, and in summer, you can see beautiful silver grasses and reeds. Many migratory birds visit in winter, so you can see many migratory birds. In addition, Dalseong Wetland has 230 species of endangered wild animals and rare plants. Examples include otters, wildcats, mallards, yellow roe, herons, swans, red-headed ducks, mallards and cedar trees, rattlesnake vines, red-bellied hawks, and storks.

Walking along Dalseong Wetland leads to Daemyung Reservoir. It is an artificial reservoir created in 1995 to prevent flooding of the Nakdong River. The Maengkongi (narrow-mouthed toad), colony has become the largest spawning place in Korea for Maengkongi (narrow-mouthed toad). In the mating season, the sound of a babbling fills the silver grass field. Maengkongi (narrow-mouthed toad), an environmental indicator species set by the International Union for Conservation of Nature, shows the eco-friendly charm of Daemyung Reservoir.
Walking along the Dalseong Wetland Forest Road, there is the Dalseong Wetland Ecological Learning Center. The appearance of a black crane attracts attention. Until the 1970s, Dalseong Wetland was a place where natural monuments such as black cranes and black cranes visited every year. As the Seongseo Industrial Complex was built and the area around the wetland changed, the black cranes gradually disappeared. It is a building that holds the desire to restore the ecological environment when the black cranes used to play.

The second and third floors of the learning hall consist of an exhibition hall. On the second floor, there is a history and introduction of Dalseong Wetland, and you can watch related videos at the screen consulate.
On the third floor, there is a special exhibition and a story exhibition space of the Nakdonggang River.
You can visit the Dalseong Ecological Learning Experience Center website in advance and view the exhibition hall through VR.
