Keimyung University won the award for ‘2019 Award for Best Merit for Venture Start-up Promotion’ from the ‘Minister of Small and Medium Venture Companies’ which was held in Seoul on December 10th，2019．
 Keimyung University has been running start-up clubs and courses to find and educate young people who are interested in start―ups． Further， the university is continuing to expand a ‘start-up-friendly’ curriculum for students， and a ‘start-up personnel system’ to revitalize professors’ start-ups． “This award is very meaningful and we will continue to support the successful start-up of companies related to the fourth industrial revolution as well as local-focused companies，” said Kim Han-soo， head of Keimyung University’s start―up support group．
