A special lecture on start-ups was held on May 11 in new Bauer Hall. The lecture was for students who are interested in establishing a business. At the beginning of the lecture, Kim Jong-hwa, the manager of Daegu Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, introduced a business which helps young people find jobs. The main lecturer was Lee Jung-wook, who is a member of the national team for flying paper airplanes. He won the championship at the 5th Korea Cup Paper Airplane Festival. He is listed in the Guinness Book of Records for flying 12 paper airplanes into a watermelon in one minute. The point he tried to convey during his lecture was that we should not be self-conscious and we should do what we really like to do.
