The Dongsan Hospital medical service team provided medical services for 10 days in Nepal’s small country villages Pulbari and Rum returned to Korea on November 7. The team consisted of 24 people in various medical areas including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, religious support people and nursing students. They carried out a plan to help 1,000 Nepalese people who hadn’t received medical treatment. They not only gave treatment consultations, but also performed some procedures like esophagogastroscopy, otitis media surgery and strabotomy. The medical service volunteers also prepared an educational event for Nepalese children.
