The Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development selected Keimyung University as one of the top 4 NURI (New University for Regional Innovation) business corps from 122 universities on June 13. The merchandise developed by the Department of Media Technologies, the Department of Visual Communication Design, and the Department of Animation received good results at the 2006 China Elecomm overseas fair. The Keimyung University NURI Business Corps won export contracts for AMS (Animation Message Service) and MVS (Music Video Service) worth around $200,000. More than 20 mobile phone features developed by Keimyung NURI students have been exported into several East Asian countries.
