Professor Lee Tae-hui Wins the Award for the Best Picture

Professor Lee Tae-hui of Keimyung University won the best picture award for his digital image “Tic-Tac-Bang #15” at an exhibition held by the Korea Contents Association.


This year, about 300 foreign and domestic pictures were entered and 10 best pictures were nominated.


Lee Tae-hui is a professor in the Department of Video and Animation in the College of Fine Arts, the director of the Korean Society of Media & Arts and an operation committee member of the Daegu Art Factory. He was the invited artist at the ASYAAF (Asian Students and Young Artists Art Festival) special event, which was held at Sungshin Women's University in 2010.


He said, “I visually reconstructed the definition of contemporary identity through disjointed demarcation and identification of fictional constructs made by human beings.”


The Korea Contents Association was founded March 16, 2000, with the purpose of developing the content industry through research and educational activities in related fields. In addition, this association, which is part of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, is a very large association that holds international seminars and international design exhibitions.
